1. About SockX
SockX is a marketplace platform that connects buyers and sellers of socks — new, worn, or otherwise. SockX does not sell socks directly. We provide a venue where buyers can post wish requests and sellers can choose to fulfill them.
2. How It Works
Buyers post wish requests describing the socks they are looking for, including price, size, and shipping destination. Sellers browse wishes and reach out to buyers to arrange fulfillment. All payment and shipping are handled directly between the buyer and seller. SockX does not process payments, handle funds, or ship goods on behalf of any party.
3. Account Registration
You may create an account using your X (formerly Twitter) login. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use SockX.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to: post fraudulent, misleading, or illegal content; harass or abuse other users; use the platform for any purpose unrelated to buying or selling socks; or attempt to circumvent any security features of the platform.
5. Limitation of Liability
SockX acts solely as a venue connecting buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any transaction between users. SockX is not responsible for: the quality, safety, legality, or authenticity of any socks listed or exchanged; disputes between buyers and sellers; payment failures, fraud, or chargebacks; shipping delays, loss, or damage. All transactions are conducted at the sole risk of the parties involved.
6. No Warranties
SockX is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any wish will be fulfilled.
7. Content & Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of content you post (wish descriptions, images, etc.), but grant SockX a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display it on the platform. You must not post content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms or engage in conduct harmful to the platform or other users.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of SockX after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
